Asus Mobile India has woken up from its long hibernation and announced the Asus 8z handset; apart from the ROG series in the country. The smartphone actually made its debut last year globally but launches after almost 9 months in India. The physical footprint of the device comes in a compact shell with a decent-sized screen on the front.
The rebranded Zenfone 8 in India with its compact design comes along with the high-end specifications list featuring a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800-series chipset. The smartphone will compete with the likes of OnePlus, Mi, and Realme smartphones; which carry a similar set of specifications at the same pricing.

The 8z from Asus sports a 59 inches Super AMOLED display with a screen resolution of 1080 × 2400 pixels The display supports a 120Hz high refresh rate, HDR 10+ and puts out a peak brightness of up to 1100 nits
